First off, we would like to say thank you. Thank you for your willingness to try our great organization and all the fantastic benefits it has to offer your boy as he grows. Scouting is about character development and having confidence in yourself to Be Prepared!
The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) is the largest youth organization in the U.S. with nearly 3 million youth members and 1.1 million registered adult leaders. These members make up the 122,582 local Scout units that in 2005 logged more than 34 million hours of community service.
Our program is a family program. One that we hope will become part of your family and you will come to enjoy Scouting just as much as your boy.

Scouting is active in so many ways! There are numerous programs and activities for your son to participate in.
When you join your unit, make sure you get all the contact information you will need and also make sure you provide the means in which you wish to be contacted. This includes email, home phone, cell phone and even Facebook!
